HOT Shred is a Document Destruction services company located in Waco Texas. Owner Jay Lankford began his shredding business in January 2005, and during its tenure, they destroyed and processed approximately 5,573,000 pounds of paper materials. During 2008, that number increased at approximately 350,000 pounds per month, and Jay subsequently sold the business.

Hard Disk Destruction Services & More

HOT Shred marks Jay’s return to the Disk and Document Destruction business born from a sincere desire and needs to serve his loyal customers. He has had many requests in recent years to provide his services again, but business agreements prevented him from doing so prior to now.

HOT Shred provides a secure environment for document destruction and document shredding. Security of and confidentiality of client documents are the number one priority of HOT Shred.

HOT Shred is a locked-down secure facility. Its shred room is only open when an authorized HOT Shred employee is on-site and working in the facility.

Confidential Disk Destruction Services

All employees of HOT Shred, prior to employment, are subject to screening and background checks. All employees have signed both HOT Shred and various customer confidentiality agreements and are aware that the material that they are handling is confidential in nature.

LEADERSHIP

Brad Lankford

A native Texan, Brad graduated from Waco High School, and later Tarleton State University. Brad has several years of experience with fleet and industrial maintenance as an in house operations and maintenance manager for Certishred Document Destruction and Balcones Resources.

Jay Lankford

As a Certified Public Accountant, and graduate of Baylor University, Jay has owned and operated several businesses in Central Texas, including Certishred. As a manager, he has understood first hand the value of properly maintained equipment. After selling Certishred, Jay has looked forward to partnering back up with Brad. Together they are able to provide their customers prompt service, priced fairly, with the quality you can trust.
